Irish edtech product Mykademy, a Olive Group company, has signed a strategic five-year partnership with the UK’s National Open College Network (NOCN Group) geared towards launching a new best-in-class virtual learning platform, vLearn.

vLearn will launch in January 2021 with market-leading virtual support materials for apprentices across some of the most popular Apprenticeship Standards.

“The partnership between Olive Group’s Mykademy and NOCN Group brings together the two market leaders within our respective domains,” said Group Chairman & CEO Brendan Kavanagh.

The platform will then be rolled out to the wider NOCN Group as part of a 12-month project to deliver unrivaled digital support to customers. Key features of the platform will include digital materials to support the delivery of qualifications, virtual classroom and one-to-many online exam proctoring.

The partnership will bring virtual learning services to over 2000 training providers and colleges globally including the UK and international markets.

Founded and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Olive Group produces affordable, high-end online training courses to help more people access affordable education and to help businesses onboard, train and upskill staff.
